Ten beautiful DIY fall decor and wreath tutorials!
Use what you already have to create beautiful door decor arrangements for
fall!
I’ve created SO many beautiful DIYs for our fall front doors and porches over
the years, so I gathered them all to share here. This is a good mix of wreaths
and floral-filled containers that are just as pretty!
Most of these can be taken apart and easily reused for a different season or
new look next year.
DIY pumpkin wreath
little details added throughout on this
colorful DIY pumpkin wreath:
This one is made with a grapevine wreath as a base, so it’s easy to change
out every year if you want.
DIY pumpkin patch wreath
This is another cute one I call a pumpkin patch wreath because the little
faux pumpkins are nestled into the greenery.

This wreath took less than ten minutes from start to finish! The grapevine
makes it so easy.
Metal bucket with fall florals
My favorite door decor is my Southern Living at Home container and use it
almost year round — I love how one piece works for all seasons by just
changing out the filler.
For the fall, I have used the same “stuff” year to year, but every year I
seem to end up adding more to it.
I just pull the whole thing out of the container every year, put it in a
baggy and store it away.
Oh yeah, and stick more “things” in:
This arrangement is everything I love about this time of year. Those
colors and textures look lovely on our front door:
Using garland for a DIY wreath
I saw a beautiful, burgundy leaf wreath at Target a couple of years ago that
I fell in love with. Turns out they had a matching garland that was
much cheaper.
Using a grapevine wreath, I wrapped and tucked the fall garland around till
it was nice and full:
I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve used that grapevine wreath over
the years! I use it for every season, over and over!
Paper flower fall wreath
This DIY fall craft may not be the best idea if your front door gets hit
with the elements, but it would look lovely on the inside of a door!
A pantry or garage door would be perfect for this one.
Fall “pocket” door decor
The next door idea is one I am really loving, and it took me all of ten
minutes. I had another hanging metal container in the basement that I
haven’t used for years.
It thought it was too bright white for most of my fall decor:
So I took my walnut stain, and dry brushed it on to highlight the raised
areas.
It kind of smudged onto the other areas, but I ended up loving the look
and kept doing it all over:
